My name is Courtney. I’m a journalism school graduate working in the Communications field in Canada.
Upon reading my blog, you might ask yourself what qualifies me to preach about self help and life improvement. The answer to that question is this: I, like many others, am faced with potentially life-altering challenges every day of my life. I haven’t lived long, but I have lived hard. I’ve found myself faced with many situations, problems, and sadnesses that I believed would follow me around forever.
But they didn’t.
Slowly but surely, and with a lot of hard work and help from others, I learned many different ways of overcoming the obstacles I faced in my life and coming out stronger and better because of it. Using this blog, I will share all the ways I learned to cope. Hopefully they will help you. Hopefully, they will change your life as they continue to help me through mine every day.
This blog is also a place for me to share my severe (and fairly new) struggles with anxiety. I really don’t have anything about this illness figured out yet, but I’m hoping sharing my experiences will help, if nothing else.
If you have any questions, comments, concerns, or ideas of your own that you think might help other people, please don’t hesitate to contact me. My information is located on the “contact” section of this blog.
I will leave you with this extremely cliche’ yet eloquent thought from Robert Frost:
“In three words, I can sum up everything I have learned about live. It goes on.”
